A Native of Auburn N.Y., Matt moved to Shreveport with his brother Chris to work at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. In 1980 Centre Court Tennis Shop was created which evolved into Sportspectrum Inc. Growing from 1200 sq. feet to 8500 sq. feet over a period of 30 years, Matt built his dream store and present location in 2010.
In 1984 Sportspectrum Race Management was created and has produced 2000+ running, multi-sport, and cycling events to date. In 1993 Matt raised over $10,000 for the American Cancer Society “Dusk till Dawn” by running 60 miles, one for each year his Mom lived. Matt served on the ACS board for 10 years along with the Goodwill board.
After 35+ years Matt’s belief is still to promote a healthy lifestyle for the Shreveport-Bossier Community. Customer service, product knowledge, and an unprecedented retail experience is what Matt has strived for since day 1.
FAVORITE MARATHON: N.Y.C. Marathon
FAVORITE HOBBIES: Spending time with my 3 girls and hanging out with my best friend and partner, Charlotte
Andrew grew up in Covington LA and moved to Shreveport in 2016 when he began working for Sportspectrum. Andrew does a little bit of everything at the store and loves all things running. He loves to bring in the best shoes and products to help runners and walkers alike and training the staff to be the absolute best running store we can be!
Director of Race Management
One of the hardest working men in Shreveport, Matt is our go-to guy for all things racing. Matt is terrific at walking you through the entire race production process and when he’s done pulling off the perfect race, you can find him running an ultra marathon or hanging out with his dog Duke and his two granddaughters!
Fit Expert/Story Teller
There is not enough space to brag on Coach Trammel and list all of his achievements. From professional runner with Adidas and making two Olympic Trials to coaching high School State Champions and Collegiate All American and everything in between, Frank will tell you his greatest achievements are being married to his Bride Becky and the relationships he has built along the way. When he’s not selling shoes on the shoe floor, you can find him following his runners with his truck sipping on some sweet tea!
Shipping and Receiving/Fit Expert
Sarah helps things moving efficiently here at Sportspectrum. Sarah is a master at shipping and receiving, making sure product comes in the backdoor and right to you in the quickest way possible. On weekends, she helps run the show as assistant manager. Sportspectrum is incredibly blessed to have Sarah’s creativity and attention to detail!
Kay helps us keep the lights on and makes sure the bills get paid- but don’t let fool you, she can also fit you in the best shoes. Our resident triathlete expert, Kay does it all at Sportspectrum and when she’s not here, she’s likely planning an event for the Revel or bringing her dog Cottonball to the lake!
Hagos is one of the most genuine and personable guys out there. He is always wearing a smile and looking to help people at the store and when he sits down with you, get ready to get to know him. Outside of the store, Hagos logs a ton of miles running for BPCC XC and T&F so he has first hand knowledge of the shoes and apparel!
Liz is our marathon expert. Having finished 15+ 26.2’s, she understands the grind of training, the importance of nutrition, and the accomplishment of crushing big goals. But don’t be intimidated, just because she has the experience of a long distance runner doesn’t mean she can’t help you find the shoe or apparel to finish that first 5k. You won’t find a warmer, more patient lady to help you at Sportspectrum!
Will worked for Sportspectrum during his junior and senior year in High School. Along the way, he smashed every record in the book and won multiple state championships. After finishing up High School, Will joined the LSU XC and T&F teams and became a national champion last year! Despite all the accomplishments, you won’t find a more humble and joyful guy around. He still comes back to Sportspectrum on holidays and school breaks to grace us with his shoe knowledge!
Victoria is a ball of energy helping you find that perfect shoe like it’s her day job. When she’s not on the shoe floor, she’s probably in the back organizing the shoes and keeping us organized. If she’s not in either of those places, she’s at our local races timing each runner as they past the finish line and helping all of our races go off without a hitch. She really does it all!

WHY I RUN: Running relieves the many stresses of my life and helps me stay happy!
Cameron trains like a mad man, so it’s likely he’s run in every shoe on the wall. And while that might be a disadvantage to his wallet, it is an advantage to helping you find a great shoe to work or run in. Cameron brings a goofy and light hearted attitude to work everyday that keeps us on our toes but it’s not always jokes- Cameron runs on the BPCC XC and T&F teams and is locked in when it comes to raceday!
